Grace Sally celebrated two months on Wednesday and we had her check up too. She weighs 9 pounds, 5 ounces and is 21 5/8 inches. She has gained almost 2 pounds in 6 weeks and is a healthy and happy little baby girl.
She is really smiling a lot and cooing too. She loves 'talking' to Dad and I.
She has really found her hands this month and loves putting her fingers (or even her whole hand!) in her mouth. She is also getting better at tummy time.
Grace loves playing and grabbing for her toys. She can grasp a rattle in her hand for a little bit and reaches for the hanging toys in her play gym.
We are having so much fun with our little girl and can't wait to make our first road trip down to Tulsa on Monday for Thanksgiving!
Happy two months Grace!!!

Newborn Photo Shoot
We had Emily Penke of Peep Toe Photography shoot Grace's newborn photos a little over a month ago and here are some of my favorites. Loving this little girl so much!! Can't believe that she'll be two months on Wednesday!
Babysitters in Training
During the past two weeks we have spent some quality time with my niece and nephew (Ella is 3 and Will is 6 months) and with one of my best friends Nikki's kiddos (Elizabeth is 3 1/2 and Zach is 18 months). Both Ella and Elizabeth are so cute with Grace and love getting to hold her and kiss her little tiny hands. They are so precious with her and I know that they will be great babysitters some day. They both each have baby dolls that they have named sort of after Grace. Ella's is baby Grace, and Elizabeth's is baby Sally. Here are some cute pics of our visits.
Here are Elizabeth and Zach with Grace. We are going to miss them (and Nikki and Nathan!!!) so much when they move to Switzerland any day now. But thanks to blogging, email, Skype, Vonage and Facebook, we hopefully will be able to keep in pretty good contact until we visit them in May.
Here are the cute cousins. Ella, Will and Grace. And yes, I totally have had that show title in my head ever since Will was born and I knew that we were having a girl and naming her Grace.

Favorite Photo
Grace chose to wear this outfit when we went to the zoo with Aunt Laura, Ella and Will. That was 2 weeks ago when Grace turned 6 weeks! Tomorrow she'll be 8 weeks!!! She is growing up too fast!

Grace has been so smiley these past few weeks! Ever since she hit 5 weeks, we have been blessed with seeing her smiles and her funny expressions.
Happy Belated Halloween!
Sorry all of my blog friends, I have been a horrible blogger lately. Timing is everything and it just hasn't been on my side when it comes to computer time these past two weeks. We had a good, but fussy, Halloween, and here are some fun photos of Grace during the day, in her ladybug costume, and of the cute kiddos we trick-or-treated with in the Prairie Village shops just down the street from our house.
My Mom made this trick-or-treat pumpkin bag for me when I was little, and now it is Miss Grace's.
I didn't have the energy (or time!) to carve pumpkins this year, so I brought out my cute pumpkin decorations I got from Pottery Barn Kids a few years ago and it worked out great. My two cute little pumpkins above!
