I had heard that as a mom most of the photos taken of your children won't have you in them -- mainly because you are the one behind the camera! This is so true! So I have started handing my camera off so that I can get some pictures of Gracie and me. Here are a few of my favorites.
Good thing we're so photogenic! :)

Rockin' My UGGs
Yes, you heard it here first. Grace has a pair of UGG boots before her own mother! I have faux UGGs, which I love, but now I might have to get a pair of real ones like my daughter.
They are super cute and a gift from my sweet best friend who is working in Australia until the end of February. Thanks Bec!!

3 Months and Back to Work
Grace Sally turned 3 months on Friday!! I still can't believe it has been that long since she was born. It feels like she has been with us for much longer, and it is hard to picture my life without her.
Grace is sitting up (with a lot of help!) pretty well, especially in her Bumbo. She is even sitting in her green chair better.
She lives to kick her little legs and grab for toys. We are having so much fun with her!
Grace still has all of her hair and I think it is even growing. Not sure if she is going to lose any of it, I hope not!
I went back to work on Dec. 10, and so far so good. My mother-in-law has been watching her these past two weeks and then Grace will start day care at our church after the start of the year. Pumping has been easy at work, and thank goodness Gracie takes a bottle like a champ!
We are so looking forward to Grace's first Christmas this week! Merry Christmas to you all if I don't post before then!!

Blue Eyes
My little Grace has blue eyes (for now) and I hope they stay that way because they are so beautiful!! Here are some of my favorite photos that show off her gorgeous eyes. She definitely gets them from her daddy.
Her hair is really starting to lighten up too. She'll be a blonde in no time.

Thanksgiving Times Two
Not only are we blessed with our little Grace and so thankful that she has come into our lives, we were able to celebrate Turkey Day twice with wonderful family and friends.
First, we made our first road trip to Tulsa (Gracie did great!) and spent last week with my Dad. We had a packed house with 5 adults, 3 kids and 2 dogs, but it was a lot of fun.
Here are all of the cousins: Grace, Ella and Will.

We celebrated Thanksgiving #2 with Greg's mom's side of the family in St. Joseph, Mo., on Saturday. Gracie enjoyed a wonderful nap on Grandpa Ron.
She was also the hit with the older cousins. Dylan, Lauren, Katie and Brooke couldn't wait to meet her. Brooke even told her mommy that I was taking too long of a turn holding Grace and that she wanted to hold her. (Brooke is 3 1/2).
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and hope everyone did too!!

Two Months Old!
Grace Sally celebrated two months on Wednesday and we had her check up too. She weighs 9 pounds, 5 ounces and is 21 5/8 inches. She has gained almost 2 pounds in 6 weeks and is a healthy and happy little baby girl.
She is really smiling a lot and cooing too. She loves 'talking' to Dad and I.
She has really found her hands this month and loves putting her fingers (or even her whole hand!) in her mouth. She is also getting better at tummy time.
Grace loves playing and grabbing for her toys. She can grasp a rattle in her hand for a little bit and reaches for the hanging toys in her play gym.
We are having so much fun with our little girl and can't wait to make our first road trip down to Tulsa on Monday for Thanksgiving!
Happy two months Grace!!!

Newborn Photo Shoot
We had Emily Penke of Peep Toe Photography shoot Grace's newborn photos a little over a month ago and here are some of my favorites. Loving this little girl so much!! Can't believe that she'll be two months on Wednesday!
Babysitters in Training
During the past two weeks we have spent some quality time with my niece and nephew (Ella is 3 and Will is 6 months) and with one of my best friends Nikki's kiddos (Elizabeth is 3 1/2 and Zach is 18 months). Both Ella and Elizabeth are so cute with Grace and love getting to hold her and kiss her little tiny hands. They are so precious with her and I know that they will be great babysitters some day. They both each have baby dolls that they have named sort of after Grace. Ella's is baby Grace, and Elizabeth's is baby Sally. Here are some cute pics of our visits.
Here are Elizabeth and Zach with Grace. We are going to miss them (and Nikki and Nathan!!!) so much when they move to Switzerland any day now. But thanks to blogging, email, Skype, Vonage and Facebook, we hopefully will be able to keep in pretty good contact until we visit them in May.
Here are the cute cousins. Ella, Will and Grace. And yes, I totally have had that show title in my head ever since Will was born and I knew that we were having a girl and naming her Grace.
